By good fortune our language is the first language in most of North America ... and is now the number one language in the world. Apart from that and an interesting history (which most Brits are happy to ignore), we haven't got much to make us special .... especially now the pound has dropped 20% in value Peterhttp://www.inmogesvlc.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881582793561751243.post-22654259784254728052017-04-14T22:42:23.343+02:002017-04-14T22:42:23.343+02:00I really hope there will be a solution for this st...I really hope there will be a solution for this stressful situation for you all. But what I am tired off (as an European expat living in the UK) is the extra special treatment that British people want again and again and again. There were so many extra special conditions the UK constantly had in EU times - and still many people did/do not embrace the idea of collaboration. Maybe it is time to face the fact that with the brexit decision these extra special conditions - and the right to constantly demand them - might have come to an end. I am getting ready for visa applications on this end - maybe you should, too?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881582793561751243.post-15263844195261761892017-04-14T16:45:03.474+02:002017-04-14T16:45:03.474+02:00Many of us who live in Spain have been campaigning...Many of us who live in Spain have been campaigning tirelessly for our right to remain. I think there is a geographical split - South of Alicante, what we see as British ghettos, have a puzzlingly high number of Brexit supporters. I'm a European first and foremost and my passion about remaining is as much for my family in Britain as for my husband and I who live here. I can only add the advantages to some bright MEP who realises the possibilities of championing, as we have discussed a number of times, a group of many millions of EU citizens living in an EU country different to their own.<br />Un abrazo, Andymiss tracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03166523059967202918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881582793561751243.post-74164866943671759082017-04-13T18:48:20.345+02:002017-04-13T18:48:20.345+02:00I'll drink to that!I'll drink to that!Animohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15856326722407840213noreply@blogger.com
